“融”贯中西,知行相“合”,是融合课程建设的重要目标。

融合课程班以超学科主题开展探究式学习,培养知行合一的终身学习者;全面落实国家课程要求,发展孩子的各学科核心素养;中外教包班式的双语教学,构建多元文化的浸润式学习氛围。

Integration is an important goal within our curriculum’s construction.

The integration curriculum carries out inquiry-based learning with transdisciplinary themes, cultivating lifelong learners who combine knowledge and action. We fully implement the national curriculum requirements and develop children’s core literacy in various disciplines. We offer Chinese and foreign teachers co-instructed classes with bilingual teaching to build a multicultural immersive learning atmosphere.

超学科探究单元以六大超学科主题构建课程框架,关注人类共性的问题,内容涵盖文化、生态、政治、经济、技术等多个领域,通过协作探究的方式构建孩子与真实世界的联结,通过概念驱动式学习整合学科间的认知和思维方式,使每个学科成为深入探索主题的工具。

The transdisciplinary unit builds a curriculum framework with six transdisciplinary themes. It focuses on the common issues of human beings and covers culture, ecology, politics, economy, technology and other fields. It builds a connection between children and the real world through collaborative inquiry. Inquiry-driven learning integrates perspectives and ways of thinking across all disciplines, making each subject a vehicle for in-depth exploration.

超学科探究的内容

Contents of Transdisciplinary Inquiry

超学科探究以六周为一周期,围绕着每个探究单元的中心思想和探究线索,孩子从导入环节、搜集信息、整理信息、深入探究,到得出结论、采取行动,实现一次完整的探究循环路径。探究循环构建了孩子在人、事实、图像、表象、知识、概念以及行动之间的联系,孩子们通过力、机械等科学元素探究科技对社会与环境的影响;孩子们从文化、社会、历史等角度探究个人与文明间千丝万缕的联系;孩子们探究新媒体的特点及其功能,明确数字公民的责任……

Transdisciplinary inquiry sets six weeks as a cycle. During this time, learning revolves around the central idea and the lines of inquiry. Children experiences a complete inquiry cycle from tuning in, finding out, sorting out, going further, making conclusions to taking action. The cycle of inquiry builds connections between children, people, facts, images, representations, knowledge, concepts and actions. Children explore the impact of technology on society and the environment through scientific elements such as force and machinery. They use knowledge learned from culture, society and history to explore the inextricable links between individuals and civilizations from a holistic perspective. The children explore the characteristics and functions of new media as well as clarify the responsibilities of digital citizens...

超学科探究的路径

The Inquiry Cycle

导入环节中,教师会通过头脑风暴等方式,激发孩子对探究主题的兴趣,并鼓励他们提出自己的疑问;搜集和整理信息环节,孩子会从书籍、杂志、网络、图书馆、访谈等多种渠道搜集相关性的图像、文字、数据资料,并以小组合作的方式交流、分享、整理所搜集信息;深入探究和得出结论环节中,孩子讨论并形成初步的观点,尝试对探究问题做出理性的回应;采取行动环节,孩子将以设计、制作、演示、演讲、辩论等方式,为具体的问题提供实际的解决方案,并对整个探究单元做出自我反思。

In the tuning in stage, teachers will ignite the children's interest in the subject of inquiry through brainstorming and other methods. They will encourage the students to ask their own questions. In the finding out stage, children will use books, magazines, the Internet, libraries, interviews, and other channels to collect relevant images, text, and data to communicate, share, and organize the information through group collaboration. In the sorting and making conclusions stage, the children will discuss and form a preliminary point of view, as well as try to answer the driving questions. In the taking action stage, the children will provide practical solutions to specific problems through design, production, presentation, speech, and debate. At the end of this cycle, they will also reflect on the entire unit of inquiry and organize all that they’ve learned and achieved.

探究循环的路径,为孩子提供了构建意义并修正自己理解的学习过程,孩子的五项技能(思考、研究、交流、社交、自我管理能力)得到持续的提升。各学科根据实际需要,为探究实践提供知识、技能、概念性理解等方面的支持。

The transdisciplinary inquiry cycle provides children with a learning process of constructing meaning and revising this meaning through their own understanding. In this cycle, the children's five skills (thinking, research, communication, social, and self-management skills) are continuously sharpened and refined. Each discipline provides support for Transdisciplinary inquiry in terms of knowledge, skills, and conceptual understanding according to the current needs of the subjects of inquiry.

超学科探究不仅体现在课堂的交流和讨论中,还延展到更广阔的时间和空间。教室的环境会依据探究主题而布置,以此营造真实的探究情境;师生共同布置探究循环展示板,打造可视化的探究氛围;走廊、图书馆等公共空间也陈列着与探究主题相关的书籍、互动材料,丰富了探究的素材和资源。

Transdisciplinary inquiry is not only reflected in the exchanges and discussions in the classroom, but also extends to a wider time and space. The classroom environment will be arranged according to the transdisciplinary theme in order to create a real inquiry experience. The teachers and students will craft the Transdisciplinary cycle display board to create a visual exploration atmosphere. For public spaces such as corridors and libraries, the teachers also set out books related to the Transdisciplinary theme and display interactive materials, enrichment supplies, and resources for further exploration.

学生主导会议中,孩子们与家长们分享自己的探究路径;班级集会上,他们用演讲、表演、歌唱等形式展示自己的探究经历;每年一度的探究展中,他们用流利的解说、科学的实验、精致的作品,为校内外嘉宾呈现探究结果。各类学习成果分享活动,鼓励孩子主动探索、积极思考、创意表达,持续而深入地激发了孩子学习的主观能动性。

In the student-led conference, children share their Transdisciplinary cycle with their parents. In class assemblies, they present their exploration experiences in the form of speeches, performances, and singing. In the inquiry exhibition, they use fluent explanations, scientific experiments and exquisite works to present their study results for guests inside and outside the school. By presenting their learning achievement through various activities, the children are encouraged to actively explore, think positively, and express creatively, which continuously stimulates the children's  initiative in learning.

探究展 | Inquiry Exhibition  ▲ 


不仅如此,超学科探究还重视孩子在社区、组织、田野调查等方面的社会实践。学校会举办与探究主题相关的专家讲座、家长讲座,孩子得以了解前沿的研究事例;每个单元的探究考察,孩子们能够走出校园,走近真实的社会。各类实践活动,拓宽了孩子的视野,提供了更加广泛的、平衡的、全面的、连贯的教育体验。

Transdisciplinary inquiry also focuses on the children's social wellbeing in their community, organization, etc. The school will hold expert lectures and parent lectures related to the topic of inquiry so that children can learn about cutting-edge research. Through these lectures, the children step outside of the classroom and experience the applications of the topic of inquiry in real-world society. Various practical activities also broaden children's horizons and provide a holistic, balanced, comprehensive and coherent educational experience.
